Extract from The NME [New Musical Express] Gig Guide for April 7th 1973 advertsing tickets for sale for the Tull A Passion Play gig at Wembley Empire Pool on April 29th 1973.
The gig along with the one for the previous night was planned to be the live premiere of 'A Passion Play', but was cancelled, despite being a sold-out show. These two gig were rescheduled for 22nd and 23rd June 1973 and were in the main panned by critics.
I was there and in my opinion the shows were Tull at their peak and the panning was more to do with the British music press of the time believing it was bigger than the bands they were reviewing.
